The Haynes manual also mentioned using a soldering iron for removal of the hose. Maybe I'll understand better when I start taking it apart, but how is this done, and where exactly do you use the soldering iron (I do have one).
I think until I get the parts and do the job, I'll keep a fire extinguisher in the trunk!
