I just went rhough this and found that having my
odometer rebuilt was going to cost $130. You may
find a cheaper source for that, but I opted to
just buy a used gauge cluster that has a speedo
with a workin odometer. I got the whole cluster
with a 140 MPH speedo and a working odometer for
around $60. The down side to that option is that
my odometer could stop working tomorrow and I'd be
back in the same boat, but I wanted the 140 MPH
speedo anyway, so it was a risk I was willing to
take. These things pop up on eBay occasionally,
so just keep an eye out. Or, if you want to email
me I can point you to a possible soure for the
part.
