Mine wasn't stuck, but it waa on _very_ tight. I washed it in mineral turps (same with oil filter bowl, like the Haynes says), then sprayed the plug threads with CRC before bolting it back in. No leaks.
(My '12 has the optional sump guard as well, but that doesn't stop you getting a wrench to the plug; had to brace myself lying down against the work bench to get enough torque to unscrew it though).
