Just out of curiousity,what is the top speed for my 1975 530i w/BW65 auto and a 3.64 ratio rear suppose to be at?I know when Road & Track tested a standard 4spd. w/3.45 ratio rear,they got 124mph out of the thing!Both tranny's have the same 1:1 top gear.I can only get approx.108mph on a cold day with the car in best tune.Does the auto suck that much power,because the difference in rear end ratios is not THAT significant!Plus the fact I guess that the auto is a little heavier.Anybody have any input on this?
