A simple upgrade for your 530 for $200, what a steal. I'll trade you for your Beetle... just kidding.
After running a list and compare with Bavarian Autosports prices (catalog), I added up to more than $1300 for the L-jet pieces. There are parts not even listed (i.e. intake plenum, front head cover, thermostat housing, etc.) The "distro" (Erk) itself is $314.95 (plus tax, hahaha).
Why do you want to spend $5-6K on a turbo? I know, you said you wouldn't. Spend $200 and you'll get better gas mileage on your 530.
Of course my parts are not new, but they're good. Otherwise the car wouldn't be running.
There's 8 days, 5 hours, 20 minutes, 5 seconds, etc, left... (look familiar) :-)
