Buss offers the GBC european type fuses in glass with pointed ends. GBC-8 GBC-16 and GBC-25.
Much better than crappy ceramic types.
Radio Shack has fiberglass sanding pen that works well on the contacts.

: I've seen pictures of converted/rebuilt fuse boxes
: for the people that had the melting fuse box.
: I have a different problem. I find that the euro
: style cylindrical fuses just suck for reliable
: connections. I took a bump fast and lost my
: wipers/turn signals the other day. THis is something
: that happens pretty regularly. Visually, the contact
: looks good, but you must jiggle the fuse around and
: reseat it a few times before the turn signal/wipers
: come back on.
: It _might_ be a relay issue, but I doubt it.
: At any rate, how tricky is it to convert these fuse
: boxes to the US style blade connectors ? Or barring
: that, what should I use to clean everything thats not
: plastic in the whole fuse compartment ?
: I've also got foglights that have never been used.
: I did a front bumper swap this summer and got some cool
: foglights. However, they wont light up for anything,
: so im guessing i've got blown bulbs. However, the
: screw holding the foglights shut is completely rusted.
: Any suggestions on what to use to get a rusted screw
: out of plastic ?
