Last summer i removed and sealed my porsche's gas tank with por and you are right...DONT get it on you!
I have a bit of a my floor pan in the same car that has a hole in it...por has a kit that comes with "tape" or "strips" that can be applied like drywall tape, did you use those? Did you use putty w/mesh?
