Note: Locations are based on 75 530I topology. I believe later cars had contols in similar location.
Cold-start value is located directly opposite the throttle body and "plugs" into the intake manifold right above the "C" runners.
Thermo-time switch is located below "C" runners and is connnected to a small coolant tube. Wires from the thremo-time switch run to the cold-start value. Switch points upward.
Cold-start relay. Next to thermo time switch. Perpendicular to thermo-time switch.
