Hey Joe- The POR-15 folks do make a couple diff't kits for gas tanks, floorboards and trunk repairs. I wouldn't hesitate to use either kit unless the hole(s) was/were on the larger side. As was stated elsewhere in this discussion thread, f-glass type patches ain't bad unless their in a load-bearing location. In that instance, you're better off cleaning the steel around the hole the best you can, then having someone weld some scrap steel there, then POR & rubberize rustproof the heck outta' it. That'll give you about as permanent a fix as possible.
