can bolt up to all the accessories up and down years. That's how I bolted on the original intake and exhaust to my late 3.5L engine. That's for the engine itself.
Now for the fuel injectors--I'm sure the motronic fuel injectors that were originally in the e28 manifold will not work with the L-Jet computer. And I don't think you can stick the L-Jet injectors into the holes in the e28 manifold and connect up the e28 fuel log.
The e28 manifold is also supported by a brace that goes down to the middle of the block somewhere--like where the throttle link pivots on the e12 (but I'm really winging it here)
If you can look at an e28, see how it all fits together.
