Gents,

I am removing the gearbox and decided to remove it in two stages, gearbox first then bellhousing. I am working along and wanted to make my life a little easier. The whole engine will be removed as well. I can't get to the upper driver's-side nut. Removing the slave cylinder helped, but a box-end wrench will not do over the nut and there is no room to get a socket up in there. I was so impressed with the Bavarians when I loosened the upper passenger-side nut. There was just enough room to get the box wrench on at turn it one position. No luck on the other side. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Boston Baked Bimmer
