I called them and found out this:
Driveline Services in Portland
They will UPS ground a rebuilt driveshaft with greasable ujoints that I can replace later if they go bad. Also, it comes with a 5 year/50K warranty. $408. If you are a CCA member, $392.50. Once you get the new shaft, you ship yours back to them. They pay all shipping which is about $30 from East to West coast. Once they get your core, you get $75 deposit back. Not part of the total above.
total after deposit is returned -- 392.50
Other option is Driveline Services in GA. (Not related anymore -- They used to be a chain)
$325 for a complete shaft. Ujoints are like originals, not replacable and non-greasable. 60 day warranty. You have to ship them yours and they rebuild it for you. You pay shipping $18.
Total -- $343
So about a $50 difference. Is it worth it or not? What do you all think.
