I admit I'm not an electronics tech, but why wouldn't 533 injectors work, they have the same 3(+ or -) ohm impedance as the 528i ones. The 535 uses higher impedance, 16 ohms, so that probably wouldn't work I agree. It looks like, and I'm really streching it here, the throttle bodys would interchange, so idle wouldn't be an issue, except it might take some creativity to make an aux air valve work. But I haven't tried it so I am just going off what things look like.
