My experience having one rebuilt (twice) was a total disaster. As the u-joints are not replacable (staked in place), they machined the shaft to accept Toyota PU truck u-joints. The brand new center bearing was trashed twice within a week. I then had it replaced with a brand new unit, no more problem (since 1985).
