It would depend on how 528i ECU does it's peak and hold. It it's voltage mode (full on voltage to open then some percentage of voltage to hold open) it might not keep the high Z injectors open which use 100% voltage for the entire dwell. If it's done with current measurement, then it would probable work (stay 100% as peak current would never be reached). The only way to find out would be to hook up injector and measure it with scope.
