Hi all,
My brother drives a '80 528i, with a 5-speed, sunroof, faded ascotgrau paint, power windows, power locks, etc. The previous owner claimed that it came with a Limited slip differential. When throttling through turns, the inside tire always looses traction. I'm convinced that it's either not LSD-equipped, or the clutches are burnt-out.
I currently have the car suspended in the air, and am looking at the numbers on the driver side of this side-loading differential.
The numbers are as follows:
73 or 33 11 1200 | B
