You probably recognize my name, I emailed you and invited you to this board and am glad you are now posting your queries. Don't be dissapointed if you don't get response to all of them as we all have different experiences. The folks here are great and will try their best.
I didn't want your questions to be overlooked... I particularly have no experience with 530's cause all I've been working with are 528's. Your best shot is to check the FAQ under the parts interchange. From what I can tell the mirrors if not mounted in the middle of the door, but in the very "corner" (angle) they'll be the same. You can try removing them and inspect them, they're a piece of cake.
Remove the plastic cover (triangle shaped) on the inside, pry it gently with a screw driver. Then you'll see two or three screws (don't recall exactly), remove them and that's it. Once it's out you can for sure tell if they are the same. Most likely they will.
Regarding your fuel injection, ditto on the answer. Check the FAQ. There you'll find out that pretty much E12's had three big periods: 72-75, 76-78, & 79-81. The last three years relate to the L-jet which I mentioned on my first approach to you. Another suggestion for you is to get a hold of a vendor catalog (Bav Auto) or the Mobile traditions CD.
Again, I'm just providing you alternative cause not all questions are completely answered.
