If you haven't done it yet, replace all the bushings in the front suspension. When I did this, I was completely knocked out by the improvement in precision and predictability. It really was like buying a new car.
The easiest way is to replace the control arms because then you replace the bushings and the ball joints w/o having to use any bushing drivers. Don't forget the strut rod bushings. Replacing them gives much improvement in the steering-while-braking area.
