This is impossible to answer w/o knowing the condition of the rest of the car. If this is the only rust, it's certainly worth fixing. You can cut whatever you need from a parts car and weld it in. Then prime both sides with something like Wurth Rost Guard, paint the top if you want, and undercoat the bottom. People have done it on 3.0CS a thousand times (or more).
