forgot to tell you to make sure and leave some slack in the cable. There is plenty of "throw" in the handle end and the hood won't close if the cable is too tight. Mine broke near the handle (interior). As far as Part#, I just told the guy at Bavarian AutoSport that I wanted a hood release cable for an E-12 and had it fixed in 2 days.
