: I have heard of people using 850 wheels on an E12, but have never seen it. And, I'm suspicious of the fitment because E12 wheels have a 22mm offset and the car doesn't tolerate much deviation.
: I'm pretty sure that the 16x7.5 (offset 15mm) ET15 will not fit the front of an E12 w/o modifying some sheet metal.
: I have Alpina wheels on my car. The fronts are 16x7 (offset 11mm). A little contact occurs if you don't roll the fender lip. The rears are 16x8 (offset 22mm). On the right side, there's no problem. On left side, there's some very slight contact with the tie-down hoop on the inside of the wheel well. It will have to be removed completely to make it stop.
