O.K. I'm a little new to the BMW game. I just purchased a 1978 530i in good condition (97,000 on ODO, great interior, minor rust, new Goodyears all around, recent rebuild on stock motor,) and I am wondering what I should do to it. I only paid $600 U.S. for it ( a steal...) so I have a little extra cash to play with. I like the looks of the 535 air dams, and I see the posts about turbocharging, and swapping motors, but what do you Bimmerphiles feel would be the best modification? Feel free to e-mail or I will check this forum regularly.
