First and formost congradulations on becomeing a member of our, well lets be hones flying bug group. (I think that the E12's with parking lights on look like big bugs). First depending on your location, get rid of the thermal reactors, stall headers are the best if you can find them. I'm still trying to find some for people on this sight. I'm a stock person my self so I'll leave the modification end to those with more experence. I would recomend a 5-sp and aproprat drive shaft.
As for the front air dam from a 535 I don't know about fitment because I'm not at the shop right now, but don't count on finding a used one. I could have sold 6 of them in the past week. I will warn you about one thing with the 530i and other E12 the front end of the chasis is week under heavey track use. This can be corected, at a good shop who know the trick.
