Does anyone recommend a specific type of clutch for a 1980 528i with approx.145km/90miles on it?
Don't know if there are aftermarket types such as centerforce etc., but I would like fellow E12er's opinions on what clutches they have and whether a heavy duty is worth it over a 'stock' clutch.
I certainly don't think the clutch in my car has ever been changed.
While changing the clutch, are there any other recommended changes and/or maintenance of parts to do while I having the clutch changed. I prefer to do this once!
Important notes:
I intend to compete in future autocross events at my local BMW Chapter in the future.
And yes, I have a ‘lead’ foot too!
