Had a bit of experience here(worked at Sears selling tools a while back...). I would get a 2 stage(a bit more $$$, but WAY better for lower noise). Keep in mind they require you to keep track of oil in the compressor stage. 30 gal tank is really a good min size if you want to run an Impact gun( Yeah Dave a 20gal will work, but the motor will run... and BTW: I haven't forgot your bezel). If you want to run a DA Sander you'll need an even bigger tank(60 or so, kinda getting big too). Anyway, IMHO, Get a sears upright 2 stage.... Reasoning: Sears is everywhere, if you need to replace something... Nop Affiliation(anymore)... Just an opinion.
