What type of guibo (aka flex disc/trans coupler) goes with the 5 speed (Getrag 265)?
The flat sides one or the ribbed one?
Does it really matter which one you install?
The 5 speed tranny I removed from parts car #2, which I've been neglecting to install due to lack of time, had a flat sides one. I want to replace it because is cracked in 2/3 places. Knowing the hassle to do the job, I don't want to do it all over.
The 4 speed my E12 had, came with the ribbed type, which I replaced a while back.
I went to my local supplier and they claim is the same for both. When I showed them the flat sides type, they said it's because it is aftermarket (@#$%^&)
Can someone be gentle to check on the parts CD? THANKS FOLKS !!!
