Don't take me wrong, the 4 speed is as good as the 265. I drove one for a while. However when you think in terms of improvements... amongst the few, that's a popular choice.
If a few folks have converted from auto, even when is a heck of a job, then it does have a point of satisfaction.

I went back a few messages, and read that you intend to buy an E12. My best advise to you is this: If the overall condition of the car is good for the money, buy the E12, drive it for a while and once you get used to it, throw in the goodies onto it.
You're not sining by asking, neither by wanting to buy the one with all the preferences. You're smart, it'll save you some labor. One thing I can stress, is that WE (all enthusiast) have to accomodate to territory and circumstances, opportunities come later.
Let's preserve more E12's.

I've been told stories of FREE E12's, free 265's... Hey, you may get one of those later.
