: The Cold start relay on the 530 is near the Brake booster and Combi relay next to the dashpots. If the CSV is not firing, also check out your thermo/time switch on the Thermostat housing (Use an ammeter - the prober ohm reading should be in the Bosch book, if it's not there, check the haynes. FWIW, the CSV is probably not bad, just one of the electricals. The CSV is located on the middfle of the plenum above the runners, and behind the EGR valve, if still equipped.

Diddo on what Troy and Erk said.For your info,the aux air valve is located underneath the 3rd. and 4th. intake manifold runners,and can be identified by the small coolant hose running to it and an electrical connector.Good luck.
