: I am looking for the waistline window seals for the front to doors (outside) They are the pieces of rubber with felt on the inside that are at the base of the power windows (push against the window to keep water out of the door) Mine are all cracked up and I need them. If you have them from a parts car you should just be able to lift the chrome at the base of the window on the outside.
: Thanks for any help you all can offer.

Kurt,
I think you should buy these new from Maximillian. Just about ANY parts cars rubber seals
that have been sitting in the weather for upto 25 years are either bad or going to be bad soon.
BMW part number 51 21 1 864 291 --is for the left drivers door (don't know if the right side is the same)
I bought a new one from BMW about 2 years ago with the intent of replacing the one that is bad in my car
(can't remember the price --$10?).
BUT after removing the outer aluminum trim piece I discovered that there are steel clips holding the seal to the
door which I couldn't remove (and reinstall) with the window in place. SO I was lazy at the time and put the trim
piece back on.
I still need to do this eventually too....
BUY NEW SEALS
