Guibo I believe is the generic term and Jurid is the brand name of the newer style coupling. The older style of guibo comes with a steel compression band around it that you remove after installation. It is also 14mm thicker front-to-back than the newer style Jurid coupling. You may be able to accomodate the thicker guibo adjusting the drive shaft length -- it is adjustable within limits. The Jurid coupling is much more durable.
