The "is" is for Injected and Sport... The "is" seats(IMHO), are way nicer than the standard "couch" type seats from E12s and E28s. They have side bolsters on the backrest and the seat cushion, keeping the "butt dyno" firmly planted... They are a bit stiffer to sit in for long trips but... I paid $300 for a set of black leather "is" seats, to give you an idea on pricing... Lower is better!!! :^)
