I get this noise while trying to start it. It happens 7 out of 10 times.. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times before it catches and actually kicks in. Then there are somedays when it starts right away and does so for a week or two at a time. Is it the starter going bad? the flywheel missing teeth? Something in the ingnition? Thnk it's worse in cold or rainy weather
May have asked this before a while back. On the whole it starts better than before now that I spent $450 for the tow, new fuel pump and cold start valve. It runs great when the motor's hummin' What is that high pitched whirring noise? Where does it come from? Sounds up close to the sterring column and behind the dash kinda.
Any ideas...anyone?
