I don't recommend going wider unless you can get lower aspect ratio. My US has 205-70's and the steering is kind of bus-like.
Plus the wider tires will give you poorer snow performance (you are in Canada?)
If the rear springs have sagged a lot, the camber and sometimes the toe, in extreme cases, can be off.
You may have to correct toe and camber with adjustable trailing arm bushings (BMP Design). PITA to intall but easy to adjust once installed.
