BMW hubcap question - "CenterCaps"??

Hi,

I was trying to come up with a solution for my problem. Have a nice 1980 528i, but the hubcaps are faded. I cannot afford rims, so I was just thinking of BMW hubcaps, but on one ad on the net I saw, BMW centercaps. Is this for use in the center along with a set of, well let's say Cheaper style rims.
I have no idea as I have never heard of these.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you very much.
