I actually think this is a very clean, albeit spartan, look for the e12. I like them. There are two hub cap styles and the cars in the gallery have what I call the concave style. There is also a convex style which I consider a bit less attractive than the convex (dished)
These hub caps offer a much larger roundel to be displayed than the center caps for the alloy rims.
