There aren't too many possiblities.

1) Check that the AFM vane is working OK. Push it with your finger and let return slowly. If it hangs up anywere you need an AFM. (Do not let the vane slam shut! This can break the little microswitch that activates the fuel pump.)

2) Next time the idle is low, pull the hose off the aux air valve (on the coolant pipe under the plenum), and plug the hole. See if the idle changes.

3) Ditto for the aux. air. valve on the valve cover.

4) Next time the idle the low, unplug the O2 sensor and see if it improves.
