I have bought a 3.5 liter bottom end from a LA area junkyard. I hastily, removed the pistons from the block and found out that the rings and piston lands were in good condition. I would like to get advice as to what I should do to put the block back together. I definitely will replace the rings, but I would like to get advice as to the type of rings to buy (what manufacturer, etc.). I have 91.97 mm size pistons. Should I hone the cylinder walls? Can I do the honing of the cylinder walls myself? Where can I get information on this subject? Thanks!
