I have a 76 530i that has always had a rear window that would only go down about a 1/4". The other rear worked fine so I put off the problem. Now however the other rear window has stopped half way and will not go up or down. Are their relays? Where are they located? There is supposed to be a plastic stick in the toolkit that you use to lower the window manually. My kit dosnt have one. In the owners handbook it shows a quarter size opening and your supposed to slit the material and insert the tool. My rear door panel dosnt have the opening! Leather interior? Any advice appreciated. Rain is imminent!
