at the switch. If you have power at the wires to the switch and not at the wires at the motor, try switching switches (SHEESH! - I'm tongue-tied). The switch may be bad. The motor may be bad also, but if you hear ANY noise when you apply power to the motor then the large window gear may be frozen. Did you try turning the motor by hand? You can turn the armature around and around and it should move all the gears of the assembly. Also check to see if the plastic gears in the motor casing are actually turning when you turn the motor by hand. I have experienced a stuck armature screw gear when it winds out too far and doesn't engage the round yellow gear (you're in there, so you must know what I mean??) If all else fails, go to a junker and pull one off an old car. Before you put everything back together, spray lube all the moving parts in there. You can even clean the electrical contacts with a spray cleaner. For yours and others information, I have even replaced a bad front-door motor with a rear-door motor, , , but not the other way round. Let us know how you progress or if I can be clearer.
