I just bought a 1977 530i, manual transmission and have a pounding noise underfloof. I jacked the car up, grabbed the driveshaft, and duplicated the noiseUpon removing a cover, I find a very worn center support. Is this a tough job? Is the part available or is this a rebuilt driveshaft kind of job? Anybody have any ideas? Thank you ken
