We have just concluded a rat hunt over on the E9 boards. An individual claimed he had a CSL batmobile for sale on behalf of an estate and requested info on the cars. A week later he put up a site with a few pics and a great load of crap (about 1% was correct)about the car. The main thing was that he TOTALLY refused to disclose the VIN until a large deposit was paid.With the help of a few others, I was able to expose his scam, which was trying to sell a Bat that was already for sale in Western Australia.
He then vanished. 5 minutes in the same room as him is all I would like!
The bottom line is that collectively we know of most of the E9 cars for sale worldwide, and the strength of the group was his undoing. Exactly the same thing has occured here today, we look out for each other and share info. In Australia we call it looking after your Mates, so a big thankyou to all on the board for lots of help on lots of topics.You can all reach around and pat yourself on the back now.
