I had a early 'Euro' 635CSI with close-ratio 'dogleg' 5-speed and a 3.07 NON-LSD differential. It even had the differential oil cooler option but no LSD. It certainly needed limited slip!
Sideloader LSD'd seem pretty rare lately.
