Rats & triple Rats. Some of you may remember my post from a month ago when my '81 started running very rough on the way home. That was the day before vacation and then a busy work schedule. Just learned today that there's zero compression in cylinder 3, so nothing but bad scenarios. Valve shot, head cracked, piston trouble, block cracked? Time and $ for sure.
Next step is to let it sit in my driveway while I consider my options. Anything from pulling the head for diagnosis to thinking about 3.5L to ...
And I was so looking forward to a long weekend drive sometime soon. At least my bicycles I can fix in a snap.
