After a couple of near misses, I installed one of these lights along with adding extra lamps in the tail light clusters. I used the redundant fog light bulb holders and wired then into the stoplights. The combination is now so bright that when I touch the brakes , the following car REALLY thinks that something big is about to happen and they back right off. I believe all E12'ers should do this upgrade to preserve their rear ends.
