I found (2) 80 528i for $500. Talked to the seller, one drivable needs guibo, no A/C or heat, electrical gremlins fuel guage doesnt' work, minor dents one side. Registered and used for transportation. Other car was running but had bad exhaust, fuel tank, fuel pump taken out and put in other car. Body straight but poor paint job. Per seller neither car has rust both poor paint. Will probably go look at them later today.
Any comments...anyone need parts to help me justify purchase?
