what's the best way to get a reading using the diagnostic box in an 1980 528i?
I've also got a humming sound coming from the rear of the car. pretty sure it's the fuel transfer pump, how would I check that? the sound is intermitent, could the filter on the pump be blocked and hence the humming? or is the pump on the way out? it's fairly loud(sometimes), could easily be heard while driving. thank's for all the help......
