i would check out your camshaft or shafts for extreme wear on the lobes, i came across a identical problem recently on a renult laguna 2.2deisel and it turned out that the cam lobes were almost completly worn flat,it ran fine driving around town at lower revs soon as the speed and revs increased it would missfire and not go above eighty .
