or in an opening along the ignition system. The poor throttle response would have me pulling the dist cap to see if it is a tight fit and if it has moisture. Use a can of condensed air like used for computer... don't use an air compressor (oil and contaminants). Also moisture getting into connections like the coil wire to dist or plug wires.
