Update on charging problem

Hi all,

I'm trying to trace the source of my battery light not working on my 528i. I have continuity from the battery to the alt. body. When I tested the blue wire lead, I didn't get continuity - I had the wire unplugged. Now that I've done that, I'm thinking I need to do it with the wire attached.

If I get no continuity on that test, it means there is a break in the wire somewhere correct? What do I do if I get continuity?

Ran out of daylight, will attack again (hopefully with more info) tomorrow.
