Not that it matters but I don't show any relays except heat/cool relay (behind heater controls at top) attached to the green w/brown wire (from fuse 14). It's important to look for the brown stripe, none of the other green wires matter.
That relay is really hard to get to although you can barely see it if you remove grill.
Does the car have AC? Is it factory?
If both, try the car in AC mode to see if the light still lights.
The connector behind the grill will unplug. It's made just like the ones under the dash; examine those to see how they un-lock.
I think you are close; I would be looking for any car stereo or alarm wiring around the heater area.
Do you want the ETM diagram for the heater sent to you?
